What courage

is required of you now?

Perspective begets action.

Sometimes a good look at the brevity of this life gives us the perspective and motivation we need to seek the path we really want to take, and to walk it. This is my story. I know from experience it is not often easy work, nor is it a journey we can go alone.

I’m Christie. Coaching came to me on my own quest to live into my purpose. I began to deeply consider how I wanted to spend my time, and this question led me, first, to become an internal peer-coach at the tech company I worked for at the time. Next I stepped into a significant life transition.

I knew I did not want to live in a state of perpetual burn out. I wanted to use my gifts in a way that was fulfilling instead of depleting, for myself and my family. I wanted to like myself more, engage with my kids more, make music, and make the most of my life.

I decided to re-engage with my dreams and seek out a supportive coaching community. I then completed extensive training with the Hudson Institute of Coaching, and continued on to earn my ACC through the International Coaching Federation. These were some of the first steps, and all of this was orchestrated for my good, by God - who is the source of courage, wisdom, joy and lasting transformation.

On my journey now, I continue to see the power of companionship - and that growth, fulfillment, peace & joy are possible, if we are willing to get still, get honest, & gain a new perspective.

This is what enables us to create the lives we really want.

For many years, I settled for so much less than I deserved & was capable of, because my perspective was blocked by BS. I was blind to my unique offering, and the misaligned imagination of my ego. I was afraid to fail, so I didn’t try. Or I tried too hard, hoping people would see my value. All of this was a form of hiding, when - ironically - what I really wanted was to be seen for who I am.

Head of Recruiting

“I had an outstanding experience with Christie, whose somatic coaching approach and insightful guidance were instrumental in my personal and professional growth. She utilized a variety of exercises to help me reflect on my values, my desires, what I bring to the table and navigate through a career transition. Her empathetic listening and support extended beyond my career, making space for vulnerable discussions about other personal challenges I was navigating alongside the career transition. I highly recommend for anyone seeking transformative coaching.”
